OPPD's Stakeholder Commitment
OPPD is your energy partner. As your partner, we are committed to be your first trusted source of information. Working with you, our customer-owners and stakeholders, we embark on key decisions together - decisions that will shape the future of our utility and our community. OPPD is committed to sharing information on industry and utility decisions, as well as listening and seeking to understand your issues and concerns.
Nebraska is our home and the only state where all customers are served by publicly owned utilities. We partner with our customer-owners and build relationships because we have a passion to serve, we honor our communities and we care about each other.
OPPD's Board of Directors highlighted the importance of this commitment by naming Stakeholder Outreach and Engagement as one if its 15 Strategic Directives. OPPD is dedicated to sharing information about the publicly-owned utility in a clear and transparent way, with meaningful ways for customer-owners to participate and provide feedback.
We are proud to be the first electric utility in the United States to utilize Bang the Table's Engagement HQ platform on this website to interact with our customer-owners online.
Ways to engage. In addition to this platform, OPPD will use your registration information to keep you posted about various outreach activities – from open houses to virtual meetings and public events. Other ways to stay connected include:

Your Feedback Matters
OPPD is a proud member of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) and supports the IAP2 core values.* We encourage public participation and believe it contributes to better decision-making.
